Covid-19 Policy

The coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has affected everyone, but together we will get through it.Your safety is our priority. In response to this new way of life, we have implemented numerous measures to protect both our staff and clients.During the lockdown we have completed the Coronavirus (COVID-19) accredited Infection Prevention and Control course for Complementary Therapies. 


Your appointment

To ensure your safety, we will undertake a lateral flow test (LFD) prior to attending your home. If we develop any COVID-19 symptoms, we will inform you, reschedule your appointment and self-isolate as per government guidelines. As a result, appointments may be subject to last minute alterations or rescheduling. 
If you or anyone in your household have any symptoms of COVID-19 – please inform us as soon as possible so that we can reschedule your appointment. Under no circumstances must you allow us to enter your home if you are unwell or are exhibiting any symptoms. Your treatment will not commence or will be ended immediately if you show signs of being unwell.
You will not be charged for any last minute rescheduling, cancellation or missed appointments due to COVID-19. Deposits and booking fees can be rescheduled until further notice as many times as required but will not be refunded. 
We ask that only you are present in the room in which you intend to have your treatment in. Any other members of your household should remain outside of the room until your treatment is complete. 


Hygiene

The couches will be cleaned thoroughly using disinfectant wipes after each use. Where possible, please shower prior to any massage treatments. We will ask you to wash or sanitise your hands before your treatment commences.  We ask that you wash the towels you intend to use for your treatment on a 60 degree wash prior to use. We ensure that any couch covers or towels provided by us for use is also washed at a minimum of 60 degrees celsius with antibacterial washing products.

 
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

PPE will be worn during all consultations and the duration of your treatment. This may include disposable gloves/facemasks/aprons where appropriate. All disposable items will be bagged and disposed of by us on completion of your treatment. 


Our treatments

We have carried out risk assessments on all treatments and are confident that we can deliver these safely. We also review are practise along with the government guidelines to ensure that we are providing services that are as safe as possible for our clients.
